SUSAN DVORAK
Susan Marie Dvorak, 69, Brantwood, died at her home on Wednesday, August 6, 2014, while under the care of her family and Flambeau Home Health and Hospice. She was born on March 31, 1945, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the daughter of Gilbert and Mildred Hafer. She was married to Kenneth Dvorak in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and the couple later divorced. She was employed by Blount in Prentice for many years. Following her work at Blount she worked at Georgia Pacific-Lionite Products in Phillips, and then for one year at Aspirus Pleasant View and Aspirus Regency House in Phillips, retiring for good in 2011. In her free time she enjoyed gardening and quilting.
She is survived by three children, Joseph (Janet) Dvorak, Waukesha, WI, Dean (Jodi) Dvorak, Brantwood, and Kimberly Dvorak, Madison, WI; by 8 grandchildren; and by 7 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by two brothers, Randy and Rick Hafer.
Graveside services will be held at the Brantwood Cemetery in Brantwood at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, August 16, with Father Gerald Hagen officiating.
