Marie Mckim

Marie McKim, 93, of Phillips, WI, passed peacefully at home on March 17, 2022, joining her Lord, husband, and son. Marie was born on November 30, 1928, to Jacob and Marie (Stemper) Diblik, in Chicago, IL.
Marie grew up in Chicago, graduating from Roosevelt High School. She met and married Allan McKim and they resided in McHenry, IL, before relocating to Phillips in 1990. Marie worked Graff's Clothing Store, was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, where she taught CCD and was a member of St. Ann's Alter Society. She enjoyed golf, bowling, playing cards, and ice cream and chocolate. Marie loved her family and friends and was a very proud mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her children, Karen Johnson and Dawn (Hocutt) Carr-Phillips; grandchildren, Randy Johnson, Kelly (Donald) Melzer, Tommy (Tracy) Bronson, Tina (Josh) Bukatz; Heather (Dustin) Moss; 12 great-grandchildren with one on the way; and 8 great-great grandchildren.
Marie is preceded in death by her husband, Allan; son, Kevin; granddaughter, Kimberly; son-in-law, Garry; great-grandchildren, Isaac, Lucas, and baby girl Bronson; and great-great grandchild, Kayden.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11a.m. on Saturday, April 2, 2022, at St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church, 655 S. Lake Street, Phillips, WI, 54555, with Father Lourdu Madanu Raju officiating. Visitation will take place one hour prior to services at the church. Inurnment will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, McHenry, IL.
