JUANITA MARIE STROBL
Juanita M. Strobl, 75, Township of Catawba, died on Wednesday, December 31, 2014, at the Aspirus Medford hospital. She was born on January 3, 1939 the daughter of Norma Hoff. She was cared for by her mother Norma and by her grandparents, Ruby and Olaf Hoff.. She spent her entire life in Price County. She attended and graduated from Prentice High School, Class of 1957. She was married to Vincent Strobl on March 27, 1958. They celebrated over 56 years of marriage She and her husband Vincent owned and operated Nita’s Candlelight in Catawba, she then was employed by Pleasant View Nursing Home, Phillips, and for many years prior to her retirement in Public Health for the Price County Human Services Dept.
In her free time she was an avid stockcar fan, was an election clerk, and enjoyed traveling with family and friends.
She is survived by her husband Vincent, Township of Catawba,, by 3 children: Carol (Jeffrey) Allen, St. Paul, Minn., Timothy (Jane) Strobl, Ladysmith, and Todd Strobl, Wenatchee, Wash., by 2 grandchildren Sami and Mary Retzlaff.
She was preceded in death by her Mother Norma
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 3, 2015, at the First Lutheran Church, Ogema, with Pastor Robert Giese officiating. Friends may call on Saturday at the church from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service.
