JOAN RINGERSMA
Joan Ringersma, 65, Phillips, died at her home on Wednesday, February 28, 2018. She was born in Phillips on November 19, 1952, the daughter of Henry and Beulah (Stenlund) Ringersma. She was a 1970 graduate of the Phillips High School. She was employed by Phillips Sew and Assembly, and later by Artisans of Glen Flora. In her free time she enjoyed sewing, shooting pool, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by one daughter, Brenda Mae Mulligan, Phillips; by three grandchildren, Austin, Mara, and Jason; and by seven brothers and sisters, Barbars (Kent) Englund, Evansville, WI, Grace Olson, Appleton, WI, Linda Janacek, Phillips, Duane (Sharon) Ringersma, Phillips, Daniel (Charmain) Ringersma, Phillips, Debra (John) Stirml, Phillips, and Donald (Debbie) Ringersma, Phillips. She was preceded in death by by her life’s partner, David Hrabak, on October 2, 2000; by one granddaughter, Molly; and by two sisters, Phyllis Catchpole and Gloria Baran.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, March 5, at the Heindl Funeral Home in Phillips with Pastor Jason Bridge of the Word of Life Family Church officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services. Interment will be in the Lakeside Cemetery in Phillips.
