Jean Ellen Abraham, 68, died on Sunday, July 19,2015, at her home in the Township of Worcester. She was born on November 8, 1946, in Phillips, the daughter of Walter and Edna (Tank) Abraham. She spent her early life and schooling in Phillips. She attended and graduated from Phillips High School, Class of 1964 Following high school she made her home in Milwaukee where she was employed for over 35 years at Master Lock prior to her retirement. In her retirement she was employed part time for Save On Foods until
2015. She made her home in the Township of Worcester in June of 2015, in the home she was raised in.
In her free time she enjoyed going to casinos, playing bingo, decorating her yard for various holidays, motorcycle trips with her close friend Don Tom, deer hunting, having a beer with her family and friends, collecting clocks and angels, and enjoyed noodles and pastas.
She survived by her long time partner Don Tom Phillips, 8 sisters and brothers: Shirley Bortz, Malta, Montana, Raymond ( Marylynn) Abraham, Phillips, Josephine (Fred) Tom, Oxford, Wi., Phyllis Fusak, Phillips, Roger (Evelynn) Abraham, Park Falls, Nina Sulsdorf, Portage, Wi., Karen (Ray Wiedmeyer) Abraham, St. Paul, Mn. Chris (Mark) Kempen, Catawba, and by many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by parents, by 3 brothers-in-law John Fusak, Merle Sulsdorf, and Howard Bortz, and by 2 nephews Peter Kempen and Leonard Langner.
A memorial Service will be held on Friday, July 24, 2015, at 11:00 A.M. at Trinity Lutheran Church, Phillips, with Pastor John Trewyn officiating. Inurnment will be in the Butternut Union Cemetery. Friends may call from 10:00 A.M. on Friday at the church until the time of the service.
The Heindl Funeral Home, Phillips, is in charge of the arrangements.
