Elizabeth “Betty” Boho, 83, Township of Worcester, died on Tuesday, March 31, 2015, at her home under the care of her family and Flambeau Home Health and Hospice. She was born on November 12, 1931, in Lugerville, the daughter of William and Nora (Pohlman) Kuczenski. She spent her entire life in the Phillips area. She attended rural school in Park Falls. She was married to Joseph Boho on Dec. 30, 1946, in Phillips. He preceded her in death on April 1, 1991.
Following their marriage they made their home in the Township of Worcester where they owned and operated a dairy farm. She was also employed by Phillips Plastics Corp., for over 17 years prior to her retirement.
She was a member of St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church, Phillips. In her free time she enjoyed craft projects, music, dancing, sewing, crocheting, word search puzzles going to the local casinos, and especially spending time with her family.
She is survived by 5 daughters: Elizabeth (Dale “Buzzy”) Smith-Eckes, Fifield, Mary (Greg) Comp, Milwaukee, Patti Hendricks, Phillips, Jan (Bob) Pierce, Rhinelander, and Barbara (Larry) Stone, Madison, by 2 sons: Joseph (Connie) Wausau, and Rick (Debra Eggert) Marion, Wi., by 16 grandchildren, 26 Great-Grandchildren, 1 Great-Great Granddaughter, and by 1 brother: Vernon Kuczewski, Pickford, Mi.,
She was preceded in death by her parents, by her husband Joseph, by 5 brothers Lloyd, Ralph, Don, Norman and Arnold Kuczewski, by 1 daughter Susan Marie, by 1 grandson Trevor Pierce, and by 1 son-in-law George Hendricks.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, April 4, 2015, at the Heindl Funeral Home, Phillips, with Fr. Gerald Hagen officiating. Interment will be in the St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Phillips, Friends may call from 9:00 A.M. on Saturday April 4, 2015 at the funeral home until the time of the service.
The Heindl Funeral Home, Phillips is in charge of the arrangements.
