ELAINE DOROTHY REVAK
Elaine D. Revak, 91, Phillips, died on Tuesday, janaury 19, 2016, at the Aspirus Pleasant View Nursing Home, Phillips.
She was born on February 29, 1924 in St. Paul, Minn., the daughter of Wilfred and Florence (Johnson) Wood.
Her early life and schooling was in Prentice. Her family then made their home in Phillips while she was in the second grade. Following her education she moved to Chicago to obtain work.
She was married to Rudy Revak on December 23, 1941, in Chicago. He preceded her in death on February 28, 1987.
They made their home in Phillips after their retirement.
She is survived by 1 brother: Bill (Sharon) Wood, Lafayette, Ind., by 3 grandsons, by 1 daughter-in-law Mary Revak, Lindenhurst, Ill. by 1 sister-in-law Helen Stubbs, El Cerrito, Ca., by 2 brothers-in-law Frank Revak, Reno, NV., and Sylvester Reimann, Missoula, Mont.,by many nieces and nephews and by a special friend Mary Ternes .
She sis preceded in death by her parents, by her husband Rudy, by 2 sons: Mike and Greg, by 1 daughter Harriet and by 1 sister Eunice Murphy.
There are no services being planned at this time.
Inurnment will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Phillips, in the spring.
