David R. Ellis

David Ray Ellis, 79, of Prentice, WI, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 15, 2023, surrounded by his family. David was born to Garold and Emily (Sykora) Ellis in Shelton, Washington, on January 9, 1944. He later moved to the Prentice area where he grew up.

David owned and operated A & 13 Enterprises LLC along with his family for several years. He enjoyed the outdoors, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Donna; children, Mary (Rick) Jones, Lois (Todd) Ochodnicky, Brian (April) Ellis; stepchildren, Cindy (Gerry) Rodriguez, Renee Peterson, Tammy (Jeff) Retzlaff, Randy (Theresa) Anderson, Laurie (Scott) Ochodnicky, Jeff (Bill) Anderson; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

David is preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Ella Mae; brothers, Gary, Donald, and Richard; sister, Nancy; and stepdaughter, Marcy.

A Memorial Service will be held from 12pm - 5pm on Saturday, February 25, 2023, at the Railroad Avenue Recreational Center, 1109 Railroad Ave, Prentice, WI 54556. Heindl-Nimsgern Funeral Home is assisting the family.
