Daniel Mark Check

Daniel Mark Check, 56, Hawkins, made his final exit on Sunday July 21st, 2019, at Rib Lake Health Services under the loving care of Hope Hospice and Palliative Care.
He was born in Chicago, Illinois, on June 17th, 1963, the son of John J. and Counsualla Check. He moved to Kennan, WI in his teens, where he later married Laurie Anderson, and they had and raised two daughters together, Tara and Kendra. They later divorced, but remained friends, and he relocated to Hawkins, WI where he resided up until the time of ill health.
Dan enjoyed playing cards, getting a drink with family and friends, shooting pool, fishing with his buddies, and spending time with his family and friends, especially his four grandsons.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by all his siblings, David, Michael, Joseph, and Jack Check, and many aunts and uncles.
Dan is survived by his children; Tara (David Alexander) Reamer of Medford, and Kendra (David) Eisner of Rib Lake. Four Grandsons; Tripp Reamer, Knox and Kash Alexander, all of Medford, and Parker Eisner of Rib Lake. Stepbrothers; Frank (Karen) Check of Beaufort, South Carolina, Joe (Linda) Olejniczak of Alpharetta, Georgia, and Paul (Jill) Olejniczak of Chicago, Illinois. The Slack Family, which he considered family to him, and he is further survived by many nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
A celebration of life will be held at Happy Daze in Kennan at 12:00 Noon on Sunday, August 4th.
