Carrol Jean Miller, 85, Phillips, died in the Aspirus Pleasant View Nursing Home in Phillips on Monday, May 29. She was born in Peru, Indiana, on February 8, 1932, the daughter of Elmer and Daisy (Musser) Miller. She was married to August Miller in Peru, Indiana, on September 30, 1950. She was employed by Phillips Plastics Corporation in Phillips for 21 years. She was a member of Saint Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church of Phillips. In her free time she enjoyed crocheting and was an avid fan of the Young and Restless television series and of Green Bay Packers football.
She is survived by six children, Roxanne Miller, Phillips, Joseph (Reba) Miller, Princeton, KY, Melinda Christensen, Evansville, IN, Daisy Miller, Green Bay, WI, Janet (Roger) Kavina, Phillips, and Nancy (Delroy) Thompson, Canby, MN; by 15 grandchildren and many great grandchildren; and by one brother Paul (Ann) Miller, Utah. She is preceded in death by her husband, August who died on June 18, 2011; by one son, August Jr.; by three brothers, Francis Miller, Kenneth Miller, and Robert Miller; and by one sister, June Hughes.
Memorial services will be held at Saint Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, June 10, with Deacon James Celba officiating. Inurnment will be in the Saint Patrick Cemetery in Phillips. Friends may call at the church on Saturday, June 10, from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services.
