Maria Belen Rodriquez

Maria B. Rodriguez, 81, Phillips, died on Sunday, February 26, 2017, while under the care of her family at the home of her daughter Maria Upson.
She was born on April 8, 1935, in Asherton, Texas, the daughter of Bartolo and Petra (Sanchez) Carranza.
She spent her early life and schooling in Texas .She was married to Pablo Rodriquez in
Carrizo Springs, Texas. Following their marriage they made their home in Illinois in the mid 1950’s. Her husband Pablo preceded her in death on Jan. 17, 2010.
She was employed by Precision Extrusion in Bensonville, Ill., for 15 years prior to her retirement. Then became a Padtor’s wife as she and Pablo went into the ministry full time at the Spanish Baptist Church in Bensonville, Illinois.
She is survived by her children: Maria (Dennis) Upson, Phillips, Pablo (Chris) Rodriquez, and Gloria (Fred) Lerma, all of Elgin, Ill., Ruth (Dennis) Kelleher, Lake Nebagamon, Wi., Rachal (Mike) Zeman, Darien, Ill., by 24 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 2 great- great grandchildren, and 1 sister: Juana Tristan, Dyer, Ind.,
She was preceded in death by her parents, by her husbnd Pablo, by 3 adult sisters: Josefina, Evangelina, and Maria, and three infant siblings
There are no services being planned locally.
Funeral arrangements are being planned for a visitation on Friday, March 3, 2017 from 4 to 8 P.M. and the funeral will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2017, in Elgin, Illinois.
Heindl Funeral Home is in charge of the local arrangements.
