ALBERT J. KUCERA
Albert J. Kucera, 74, Town of Winter, died at his home on Sunday, August 9, 2015.
He was born in Chicago, Illinois, on June 30, 1941, the son of Albert and Sylvia Kucera. He was married to Clare Koch in Chicago, Illinois, on May 10, 1986. He was employed as a Chemical Operator by the Union Carbide/Viskase Corporation in Chicago, Illinois, for 38 ½ years, retiring on April 1, 1995. On April 20, 1995, Albert and Clare moved to Sawyer County to the Town of Winter where they made their home. He was a founding member and active in the Tuscobia Trails ATV Association. He was an active member and operated the groomer for the Loretta Trailblazers Snowmobile Club. He was a passionate volunteer with both of these organizations. In his free time he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and making maple syrup.
He is survived by his wife, Clare; by one daughter, Sandra (David) Hayward, Pennsylvania; by two grandchildren, Eric Albert (Amanda) Illian and Lauren Illian; by one great grandson, Camden Illian; by many brother and sister-in-laws; and by extended family. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may call at the Heindl Funeral Home in Philips on Tuesday, August 11, from 5 to 8 P.M..
